can I replace a 60 amp alternator in my Dodge motorhome with a 100 amp?

I have a 1978 Dodge Sportman B300 Motorhome and I just found out that the alternator needs to be replaced - it is drawing the battery down. I will also be towing a utility trailer behing it - I want to know if I can replace the old 60 amp alternator with

Yes if same frame and will mount in same brackets. Other than that you should be able to purchase a high output alt. that is same size as 60A unit. I'm surprised it didn't come with high output to start with, that's not even enough for a car with A/C
