Will pouring "radiator leak fix" into the overflow tank instead of the radiator cause problems?

I have a very small coolant leak, and decided to buy this metallic liquid that claims to fix radiator leak. I couldn't get the radiator cap loose (it may be rusted on), so I poured the "Leak Fix" into the overflow tank instead. Is this going

it shouldnt harm anything,it just will pick it up anyways,but it would be nice if you could get the cap off,then it would work a little better.
